Joined BGS in 1986, left in 1993.
Was in Johnson House.
Now living in Harold Wood in Essex, married with two children.
After working for Local Government I know run a Fire Protection business in Brentwood.

I was at BGS from 1984-1991. Following a first degree at Liverpool, I trained as an English teacher, working at schools in London, Kent, Northampton and Nuneaton. I then moved into higher education and worked at Middlesex University, the University of Nottingham, and Aston University where I am currently Reader in Literary Linguistics and Head of English, Languages and Applied Linguistics.

Born in 1966, joined BGS in September 1977 and left in June 1984. I then joined Sainsbury's where I worked for just shy of 37 years before retiring in June 2021. I now spend time travelling or playing Golf. (Managed 160 rounds of Golf in my first tear or retirement. I am a member at The London Golf Club. I live just outside Chatham with my long suffering wife Rachel, we were married in 1990.

Life spent as a musician - violinist - member of the Royal Opera House Orchestra 1973-1997 then freelance. Now work as a composer.

East Wickham Primary, BGS 1957 - 1964. Industrial Research Chemist 1964 - 1992. University of Greenwich Cert Ed 1993. FE College lecturer 1994 - 2003. Cabinet member of Lewisham Council 1990 - 2006. Happily retired.

I was a pupil from 1977 to 1984
From there I had a successful career in the City as an FX Trader
I also write and do photography at music events for a magazine and spent some time as a Driving Instructor.
I retired at 55 .
I’ve been happily married since 1991 to Tiffany and have three wonderful sons.

Qualified as a Registered Nurse at The Royal Free Hospital, London in 1986.
Married Michael Wilson in 1987.
We moved to Wolverhampton a year later and are still were!
We have a son, daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters.
I’m kept busy working part-time as a General Practice Nurse and looking after grandchildren, elderly parents and an allotment.

I have recently reunited with Stephanie Roberts and Angela Parris after almost 60 years. We are looking forward to having contact with other former pupils, and also becoming part of the Old Bexlians Association.

I moved to New Zealand in 1989 and it was the best thing I could have done.
